SBEM Modelling

All newly constructed or significantly altered commercial buildings are required to meet Part L of the Building Regulations (conservation of fuel and power).

Simplified Building Energy Model (SBEM) is the compliance tool used to calculate CO2 emission rates when determining compliance with Part L of the Building Regulations. It is also used to generate Energy Performance Certificates for non-domestic buildings on construction and at the point of sale or rent.

We can undertake validation and reporting, including SBEM calculations and provide advice on compliance with Part L of the Building Regulations.
